The Author's Biography

Michael Holder is an experienced therapist (working both mental health & substance abuse), a twenty-year veteran of role playing games, an online entrepreneur, a world traveler, & an expert in the field of behavior management. Michael's powerful use of psychology, as a tool for eliciting an emotional response, can be found throughout the Demons & Saints game.

Raised in a military family (US Air Force), Michael's early education was in Department of Defense schools as his family was stationed from base to base throughout Europe and the United States.

Michael had a world education as he visited such places as Mozart's home in Salzburg, Hitler's Eagle Nest, Concentration Camp of Dachau, Anne Frank house, Cathedral of Cologne, Burchesgarten Castle, King Minos Palace in Crete, Acropolis in Athens, and many others historical sites. This early exposure to world history would have a great influence on his later work.

Following his high school graduation, Michael immediately enrolled into college where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology in 1992 and his Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology in 1994.

Upon graduating, Michael worked three years as an teacher & gained years of experience as a mental health therapist. He also help facilitate one of the first intensive drug clinics for youth in central Florida and created a behavior model that helps troubled children.

As a writer, his favorite genres are horror, science fiction, fantasy, and adventure. Among his personal projects, Michael is committed to expanding the Demons & Saints world by adding on new storylines, new characters & encounters, and a series of new adventures.

In addition, Michael is conducting research on a series of testimonials for a new book called The Christ Conspiracy and nearing completion on a Bachelors degree in Information Technology: Security Systems.

Michael currently resides in Tampa, Florida. He stays active in the community and enjoys the attractions of the state (Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc). He is also a big sports fan who also enjoys traveling, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family.

Regarding issues of spirituality, Michael has been quoted as saying that he is "...far more of a spiritual person than a religious person but...learning about the various religions of the world makes for a great start down the path of spirituality."
